The Ask

"Ready for More" was a 3-day production at Fort Hill AFB in Utah. GSD&M was looking for a doc style director to bring a fresh perspective and found that and more with Mike Medoway.

Like most productions, our challenges were budget and time. I staffed two camera units, which allowed us to capture additional coverage on big scenes and fit extra scenes into our schedule. GSD&M provided talent and most of the locations. We provided the crew and managed the day to day logistics.

As a freelance Exec Producer with Schofield's Flowers, I managed the job from bid to award and production to edit. I was the post-supervisor, managing the edit from November to March with editor Mike Medoway. To keep costs manageable, we hired freelancers for color, mgfx, and sound.

Overall, I was ecstatic to work with the U.S. Air Force because my parents served in the U.S. Air Force. I was honored to be a part of the production and look forward to the next one.
